The Harris County ACCTS program aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and career advancement of the child care workforce in Harris County through high-quality professional development and credentialing opportunities. This initiative is a collaboration between the Children’s Learning Institute at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and the Harris County Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity–Early Childhood Initiatives Division.

Free 20-week Virtual Program.
Free CDA Books and Materials.
CDA Comprehensive program is perfect for teachers with limited training or who prefer structured preparation.
CDA Unlocked is best for teachers with 1+ years in child care and 60+ hours of CDA aligned training.
Mentor Support with courses, portfolios, and one-on-one sessions.
Earn up to $3,000 throughout the cohort for each milestone achieved.
CDA Credential Application – we’ll cover the cost.
