Welcome to the Duncan Clinic
Located within the Children’s Learning Institute and part of UT Physicians, the Dan L. Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic provides compassionate, evidence-based care for children with developmental, behavioral, and learning concerns.
We understand that developmental challenges are often complex and may involve multiple areas of a child’s growth and functioning. Our team takes a comprehensive, family-centered approach to understanding each child’s strengths and needs. From infancy through young adulthood, we partner with families to provide evaluations, recommendations, and ongoing support that promote success at home, in school, and in the community.
Developmental Expertise
Our multidisciplinary team brings together specialists from a variety of disciplines to provide comprehensive developmental evaluations and personalized recommendations for children and adolescents. Our developmental pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other specialists work collaboratively to ensure each child receives individualized care tailored to their unique needs and goals.
We provide assessment and consultation services for a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and learning concerns, including:
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Learning disabilities
- Intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Down syndrome and other genetic conditions
- Behavioral and emotional concerns
- Other neurodevelopmental conditions

Appointment Information
Please contact the Duncan Clinic directly at 713-500-8300 to schedule an appointment. As some clinicians require referrals, our health care team can provide helpful guidance and current waitlist information not offered through UT Physicians central scheduling.
The clinic is located in the renowned Texas Medical Center at 7000 Fannin Street, Suite 1910, Houston, TX 77030. Before proceeding to the 19th floor, all visitors must check in at the security desk on the ground floor. A valid photo ID is required to receive a visitor badge.
Helping Your Child Prepare
A clinic visit can feel more comfortable when children know what to expect. We encourage families to review our social stories before their appointment. These resources help children become familiar with the clinic environment and appointment process, which can reduce anxiety and increase predictability.
