Welcome to the Dan L Duncan Programs at the Children’s Learning Institute
The Dan L Duncan Programs at the Children’s Learning Institute were created through the generosity of the Dan L Duncan family. Their mission is to enhance children’s opportunities for successful living by providing them with individualized research-based clinical services and resources. A highly unique aspect of our clinical programs is our focus on finding the most effective approaches for supporting children with developmental and learning problems. We use research to inform our clinical practice.
The Dan L Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopment Clinic at the Children’s Learning Institute is part of UT Physicians clinics that are dedicated to the health and well-being of pediatric patients. The Duncan Clinic provides comprehensive assessments of children, adolescents, and young adults who are thought to have developmental or behavioral problems, autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities such as dyslexia.
The Children’s Learning Institute has provided a collection of high-quality online resources related to common developmental concerns. These resources include information relevant to emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges, as well as supports to help children at home and at school.
“The decision to establish the Dan L Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic was an easy choice for our family. Our children are our future. My family has been very blessed in a lot of ways. Through this gift, we established a place where families can get the professional expertise and guidance they need without having to go through the challenges we experienced.” – Randa Duncan Williams
