Improving Kindergarten Reading Instruments
The purpose of this study is to evaluate and refine the Kindergarten reading measures available on CLI Engage in order to enhance their validity, reliability, and practical utility for stakeholders.
Improvements to the reading instruments will benefit educators, administrators, and future students by supporting more accurate identification of reading needs and better alignment with educator feedback. The resulting assessments will strengthen the CLI Engage platform and contribute to data-informed literacy instruction in classrooms statewide.
