RAP for Teachers
Become an early childhood registered apprentice.
Teachers can easily become apprentices though our RAP! Apprentices come from a variety of backgrounds. Typically they are individuals new to the field and/or individuals who have not had formal education in early childhood education.
Or program helps teachers earn a CDA certificate, which allows them to improve instruction and increase professional development knowledge and be great educators in the classroom. Apprenticeship Benefits

Eligibility
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Two letters of recommendation
- Commitment to the program for two years
- Employed full-time at a TSR site
- Gain important skills
Please note: Apprentices will need to commit and complete the apprenticeship and CDA requirements. Participation will be monitored and troubleshooted by a coach, who will be there to help the apprentices along the way. After the trainings are complete, attendees will need to pass the CDA exam and have a successful verification visit to complete the program and receive their certification.
