Abstract: The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) represents a comprehensive framework designed to address students’ diverse academic needs through evidence-based practices. At its core, MTSS employs a preventative approach that requires educators to utilize data-driven decision-making for program development, instructional refinement, targeted interventions, and comprehensive support mechanisms. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into MTSS practices offers significant potential to enhance both the precision and efficiency of these educational processes. This article discusses current research literature and emerging practices on AI implementation within MTSS frameworks, examining how AI can facilitate differentiated instruction and inform educational decision-making. By illustrating concrete applications and addressing implementation challenges, we provide education professionals such as classroom teachers, school administrators, educational researchers, and policymakers with practical knowledge and strategic insights necessary to effectively navigate this rapidly evolving technological landscape while maintaining focus on improving outcomes for all students.
