Andrea L. Francis, MEd

Assistant Director, Family Services
Andrea Francis is an Assistant Director of Family Services for the Workforce Solutions Early Education Quality Services at the Children’s Learning Institute (CLI). Her early childhood professional career began as a preschool teacher at the very first National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited early learning program in the city of Houston and progressed upwards to become a leader in early education program development and facilitator in creating far-reaching, high-level strategies for family support, child care resource and referral services and parent education models.
She leads the Family Services team in creating systems to provide family awareness and access to resources that promote healthy child development and exceptional early learning experiences. Mrs. Francis is passionate about assisting families to find their voice as they advocate for their children to receive high quality early care and education to build strong foundations to propel them to reach their full potential in school and life.
Mrs. Francis is a tenured senior executive administrator and strategic growth leader from the non-profit realm. Her education and passions are with young children and families, which has afforded her opportunities to lead successful family engagement projects over a 25-year span. She currently sits on the Board of Texas Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies and served on the Advisory Committee of the Houston Infant and Toddler Coalition among other professional organizations she’s involved with.
Mrs. Francis received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with specialization in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University-Portland.
