CLI Co‑Director, Tricia A. Zucker, PhD, will be a keynote speaker at the 6th Annual Literacy Matters Conference, hosted by Aldine ISD. This year’s theme, “Our Story, Our Students: Strengthening Literacy Through Purposeful, Rigorous Instruction,” focuses on how intentional, high-quality literacy instruction builds foundational skills, deepens critical thinking, and inspires a lifelong love of reading and writing. The free event is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The virtual format allows educators, parents, and community advocates to engage from anywhere—making Literacy Matters both accessible and impactful.
