Michael A. Assel, PhD, was recognized as the 2024 Robbin Parrish Award honoree by The Parish School during their 16th Annual “Giving Voice to Children” Luncheon.

Since 1983, The Parish School has educated children ages 2-12 who have communication delays and learning differences, empowering them with the tools to succeed. This nationally recognized special needs school in Houston provides a personalized academic approach that allows children not just to grow but to thrive.

Dr. Assel was honored with the award in recognition of his commitment and approach to supporting the students and families at the school. Over the years, he has provided comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to many of their students and strengthened our association with this valued local partner.
