We’re excited to announce updates have been made to the Texas Trainer Registry on the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS). Managed by the Children’s Learning Institute (CLI), TECPDS serves over 75,000 early childhood professionals. The Trainer Registry is a statewide network of trainers delivering high-quality professional development to early childhood professionals.
TECPDS has done in-depth research and redesigned the Trainer Registry, giving it a new, cleaner look. Now it’s easier to use each function and help trainers advance in their career path. The updates include changes to the application and renewal process, new levels to document trainer skills, and progression as an early childhood trainer within the core competencies. With these updates, CLI is extending our focus on continuous quality improvement to both trainers and trainings through the Trainer Registry, an important component in the shared efforts to improve child outcomes.
