Dr. Williamson with Patient

A letter from Dr. Williamson:

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have decided to retire after over 40 years in practice. It has been a joy working with all of my patients, friends and colleagues over the years. I take peace in knowing that throughout my career I have been able to help so many families. Looking back at the research as well as the clinical work that I have been involved in allowed for the groundwork to be laid to form the Dan L Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic, which continues to strive for excellence in developmental and behavioral pediatrics. Lastly, I wish to thank everyone for all of the lasting memories.

Dr. W. Daniel Williamson retired as of February 28, 2022. His long standing excellence of care will be missed by all. The Dan L Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic will strive to continue to perform with the same excellence that has been fostered by Dr. Williamson over all of these years. His leadership, guidance, vast experience and knowledge will be greatly missed.
